Going “viral” is nothing new to me

As one of the older members of Generation Z, I only have the faintest memories of life without social media which means many of my lovely thoughts have been put out there for the world to see. On the day-to-day, I post random qualms about my life as a 20-something navigating this thing we call adulthood, but I occasionally share a Tweet that resonates with others (thousands of others) on the bird app. From sharing viral memes, engaging in the latest pop culture moment, or speaking out against issues that are personal to me, I’ve always shared an unapologetically bold—and Black—image of myself online and the strong responses point to my deep understanding and love for my culture. With that in mind, below are a few of my top Tweets that have made the world laugh, think, or do something in between.
